Who We Are

The Rural Manitoba Female Hockey League is a Minor Hockey Association in Western Manitoba comprised of Member Associations throughout the area. We are in full compliance with the rules and regulations set forth by both Hockey Manitoba and Hockey Canada. Governing is provided by the League Governing Body, and other appointed personnel in accordance with the Constitution, By-Laws, and Regulations.

Our Objective

We strive to create and promote female hockey within the confines of fostering sportsmanship and team participation.

Land Acknowledgement

The Rural Manitoba Female Hockey League acknowledges that our teams and associations gather for competition on Treaty 1, Treaty 2 & Treaty 4 Territory and that Manitoba is located on the Treaty Territories and ancestral lands of the Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Denesuline and Nehethowuk Nations.

We acknowledge Manitoba is located on the Homeland of the Red River Métis.

We acknowledge northern Manitoba includes lands that were and are the ancestral lands of the Inuit.

We respect the spirit and intent of Treaties and Treaty Making and remain committed to working in partnership with First Nations, Inuit and Métis people in the spirit of truth, reconciliation and collaboration.
