Scholarship

Each year, the Rural Manitoba Female Hockey League proudly awards one successful applicant with a $500.00 post-secondary scholarship.

How It Works:

• All applications shall be provided to the RMFHL Secretary-Treasurer on, or before, August 30.
• The Executive Committee will review all applications to ensure eligibility.
• The scholarship will be awarded by a random draw of all eligible candidates during the AGM in October.

Eligibility Conditions:

• Will be attending a post-secondary institution (University or Community College) in the coming year.
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of (3) classes per semester.
• Must be an active player in the RMFHL during their Grade 12 year.
• Must have a Grade 12 average of 75% or higher.
• Must not be a recipient of a Hockey Manitoba Scholarship

Applications Must Include:

• Name
• Contact Information
• Name & Location of Secondary School
• Grade 12 Average
• Name & Location of Post-Secondary Institution
• Written statement profiling how your participation as a player in the RMFHL has prepared you for post-secondary education.

Application Accompaniments:

• Grade 12 Transcript.
• Proof of enrollment at valid post-secondary institution.
